Khalil Rountree Jr. earned the biggest win of his career with a third-round knockout over Anthony Smith in the UFC Vegas 83 co-main event, and he’ll go home with an extra $50,000 as a bonus.
Following the final UFC Fight Night card of 2023, the promotion handed out four “Performance of the Night” bonuses, which included Rountree after he secured his fifth straight win by taking out one-time title challenger Smith.
Nasrat Haqparast scored a devastating first-round knockout over Jamie Mullarkey, which helped also him earn the extra $50,000 from the UFC.
After accepting a fight with Sumudaerji on extremely short notice, Tim Elliott wrapped up a nasty arm-triangle choke to earn a submission victory. He’ll also go home with an extra $50,000 for a “Performance of the Night” bonus.
And finally, Road to the UFC winner Hyunsung Park got the last “Performance of the Night” bonus after he put away Shannon Ross in impressive fashion with a second-round knockout on the preliminary card. The win moved Park to 9-0 in his career and was his first bonus in his second UFC fight.
