– Cheers, Tiger Muay Thai! Good morning guys, 23rd of October 2019. I'm at Tiger Muay Thai
Beachside, I'm gonna give you a room tour of Tiger Muay
Thai Beachside's Hivetel. It's the refurbished shipping
container accommodation that you'll probably be staying
at if you decide to come to Tiger Muay Thai Beachside to train. So, this video is gonna be
a walking tour of our room, gonna show you exactly
what you're gonna get if you decide to stay at Hivetel and all the facilities of
that's inside our room. I do a separate video
where I take everyone on a walking tour of
Tiger Muay Thai Beachside, I'll take you around in
that video around here, I'll show you all these
training facilities over there.
So that deck is strength and conditioning, MMA and yoga is up there. The gym is over there in
that corner and of course the Muay Thai training
shed is just through there. We have the fountain here and
of course the swimming pool wraps around this accommodation,
but I do a proper, full walking tour in a separate video. I'll link it up, it's gonna
be like 20 minutes long, I apologise but, it's
everything you need to know that I can remember.
Maybe I've forgotten a couple of things, but anyway I wanna quickly say not paid or sponsored to make this video. I get a lot of questions about what's the training like here? What's the accommodation like here? What does the room look like? And so I just make videos for
guys like you watching this that have questions. I do this for fun, I love making videos, I love sharing my training journey. No one's paying me to make this (laughs) so I pay full price, minus the

to Tiger Muay Thai Beachside at the moment as I shoot this, 'cause this is such a brand new facility, I think they're still, maybe,
not sure when you're gonna be watching this video but when
I booked this accommodation for Robyn and I, we paid
$330 Australian dollars for six nights, $340 Australian dollars for six nights through Booking.com.
You can actually find
this place on Booking.com, that's where I booked it, lets
see what the room looks like, but before I go into our
room here, room seven, I'll show you the general
layout of Hivetel. So, this hotel is actually
really, really awesome. I actually personally like
it because they have actually taken shipping containers,
actual shipping containers and they've refurbished them
into livable spaces for people to stay in while they're
going through their training journey here at Tiger Muay Thai Beachside. They've actually used
like a beehive theme, so this is like a beehive,
it's a circular building and all the shipping containers
are stacked top and bottom, side to side. As you can see there are
multiple levels, four levels here and we're staying on the third level and you can see these
are shipping containers, side to side, top to bottom.
And you'll see that this
staircase here actually links all of the levels together so I guess if you're in a wheelchair,
you won't have a problem. It might be a bit of a fun
ride coming down that ramp if you're in a wheelchair
but it's literally a ramp all the way down to the
swimmer bar just there. So the swimmer bar which I
talk about in other videos is actually, so on the ground
level you have the pool, so the swimmer bar, you see
all the submerged chairs. Little bar, they serve
protein shakes there, it's pretty rad, 120
baht for a protein shake. That pool actually wraps
around the other side under those big fountains
which I cover in other videos. Yeah, and this is the building like we have a bar on our ground level.
So, there's a pool table and
a foosball table and all that, but anyway, have a close look. This is the exterior shot of the rooms and they've themed it like
a honey bee, like a beehive. So you actually feel like a
you're in a beehive I guess. And they've themed the colours so like it's orange and black like a bee. So this is our room, I'll take you in. (door beeping) So this is exactly what
the room looks like. I'll close this door.
(door closes) So, I'll just put the card in, so our room has air-conditioning, I'm pretty sure they all
have air-conditioning, but just check on Booking.com, just to, maybe they have a couple of rooms that don't have air-conditioning,
but I don't think so. I think they're all air-conditioned. But, our bed is pretty much left and right of the shipping container, as
you can see it's literally, it's so rad isn't it? It's such a cool concept, I am personally very impressed by this.
This is the bathroom here, take you in. Bathroom is a bathroom so,
modern facilities, very clean and two shower heads and hot water and by the way, watch this. If you look closely, you
can look through there and you'll see the
training floor just there. That's the strength and conditioning where that cleaner is right now, that's where they do the strength
and conditioning classes. So you can literally while
you're having a shower, you can (laughs) watch,
not that you'd want to, but I'm just, it's pretty funny like how close everything is here. Anyway, so I'll take
you out to the balcony. So, this balcony here, as
you walk out of the balcony, you won't really see it on this camera, I'll have to change to the other camera, but you'll actually see the
Muay Thai training centre there, the strength and conditioning area there and we just hang all our stuff here.
'Cause when you're training
and you're sweating, you just need to hang
your stuff somewhere, so we just hang our
stuff on the balcony here and this is our view. So, we've obviously, your
view's gonna look different depending on which side of the
building you're staying at, but this is, hello! They're very friendly people here. So this is the pool, amazing pool, little water fountain there.
Those little deck chairs,
obviously when you're on the balcony here people look
up and you can look down and when people are
training they can see you and you can see them, like
it's a very personal, intimate, so just letting you know that that's, if you don't like people staring at you while you're on the balcony,
then you may request to stay on the other side, I don't know like this is exactly it guys. It is a circular building
and you could get views that are more lakeside I guess. Anyway, so they're training
down there at the moment, I'll take you back inside, it's already a seven minute video, jeez. All right, so this is our bed. The bed is very, very comfortable and there is charging facilities here so if you're not familiar with Thailand, you got the classic two prong connection. I plug my laptop in there,
my phones, everything.
They have a USB here as
well, they have bed lamps, right, you know, just
showing you everything. And then our bed actually,
the curtain's solid so you can get complete
darkness in this room, but you open this curtain
right up and obviously if you sleep close enough to the edge, people down there can see you (laughs), but it's never a problem
here for us because, oh, I better open that up
because there's no light because there's actually
only 13 people staying in this entire resort as I film this now. So, it actually does feel
like a private resort here which is why I love this place so much because at the moment I
feel like when I'm training I just want a little bit
of privacy when I'm resting or in the pool or whatever, I love people don't get me wrong, but
just sometimes it's nice to be a little bit secluded and isolated and have personal space and everything and this is perfect for that.
I don't know how much longer
this place will be quiet and exclusive until everyone
discovers this place, but anyway, let's continue on. So, look there's a you know,
I mean look there's a TV, I don't know, I don't watch
the TV, I don't watch TV but it is here. There's a fridge, a little, tiny fridge which has bottles of water,
they supply all the water here which is great and I think
they're meant to have like a coffee, a kettle here,
but there's no kettle here. Little work desk here, in terms
of how quiet this room is, like it's really, really,
quiet because I guess there's no one here so the
walls are literally thin.
But I don't know how
good that is for noise, like insulation, I really don't know but as I said to you before, "There's only 13 people
staying in this entire resort." I asked the staff yesterday,
so maybe if it's a full house it might be a very different story. Let's go outside. Actually, before I
forget, I wanna show you, there's another type of
room that you can book if you decide to stay here. I saw this on Booking.com
and ironically enough, the staff actually leave the doors open to some of these rooms. I don't know, I think they just want me to take you in there. Hello, how are you? So, these rooms here, this is
another option you can book. If you have a look in there,
you'll see that they've got these bunk style rooms.
There's three beds here and
they've got the bathroom and the balcony exactly like
my room that you just saw, but they've literally got three,
they can stay three people and you won't see on my camera, I'll have to use my
other camera to show you with the lighting and stuff,
but they got like little power point facilities
there, bottle of water and they've got places where
you can put all your stuff, so I'm not sure if I'm
allowed to go in here, but like that's quite decent,
that's quite a decent space.
But anyway, have a look
and the bedding here based on my room is really, really, good. Like the mattresses are
really good quality, probably 'cause it's brand new. So anyway, this is another
room type that you can book, probably on Booking.com or whatever, so, anyway if you have
