UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira is no stranger to saving the day for the UFC, and he documented the moment he did it for the second time in 2024.
Pereira will face former champion Jiri Prochazka in a rematch in the new main event of UFC 303, which takes place June 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The 205-pound title bout was announced just 16 days before it is set to take place, and replaces the originally slated headliner between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler after McGregor was forced to withdraw due to an undisclosed injury.

Pereira most recently competed at UFC 300 in April, knocking out Jamahal Hill in the first round of the main event to retain his title. “Poatan” entered the fight with a broken toe, and added a second toe break during his win over Hill. Pereira says he’s good to go, and “ready to fight” Prochazka for the second time.
In their first meeting, Pereira stopped Prochazka with strikes in the first round to capture the vacant light heavyweight belt in the main event of UFC 295 this past November.
