Chris Heria Eats JUNK FOOD For 24 Hours

– What's up its Chris Heria,
welcome to another vlog you guys know from all my
previous nutrition videos, what I eat to stay healthy
and shredded, all year long. Well today I'm going to be
doing the exact opposite. I'm going to be eating nothing but junk food for the next 24 hours. And from the perspective of somebody that eats healthy every single day, we're going to see what
effect that has on the body. And how it will affect the performance of our workouts for the next 24 hours. So to have a visual side by side. First let's take a quick before
pick and we'll do this at the exact same spot, in the next 24 hours. Alright we've got the before
picture out of the way.

Now we're going to go get
our first meal of the day, and do something that I
haven't done like 10 years, go through a fast food drive through. Now Let me start by saying this, if you eat something unhealthy, it's not going to be the end of the world. It's not going to be
that detrimental to you, but if it's a habit, if it's something that
you're consistently doing, that's going to be the
worst thing for you. By the way we're not sponsored by, any of these places that
we'll be eating today, Probably not ever, but
should we do McDonald's? – (Camera man) Yes McDonald's. – I'm actually kind of nervous
because, I know I'm going to eat all of this for the whole day and it's going to set me back like crazy. When you're eating all these
types of foods that come from so much sodium, calories. Highly processed, it has high
saturated fats and sugars. It's basically the opposite, of what you want to be
filling your body with.

Now with all that comes
with water retention, bloatedness, toxins, joint pains. You're going to feel like
you have even less energy, with very little motivation to work out. Now if you were normally eating like this, you may not feel too much of a difference because you've just been living in it. But if you've been
consistently eating healthy. Just eating a bit of this or even 24 hours of eating like this, you're going to feel a huge difference. And that should actually be a shock to how bad this food actually is, not to mention bringing diabetes, cancer and other long-term health complications that you definitely don't want. On the contrary, if you're eating healthy, you're going to be building
your immune system, you're going to be avoiding
all of those things and building a strong defense, to not get anything like that. As well as it's going to be
great fuel for your workouts, allowing you to train harder. To give you a better quality workout, as well as better quality of recovery, and overall way better nutrients
to be able to build muscle, as well as to perform.

Now, I'm only doing this
for the next 24 hours, but I'm really going to be feeling it, for the next 48 hours. So really, this is for you guys, this is definitely not for me, but if you appreciate it, then definitely smash that like button. Alright, we are rolling up to McDonald's. I haven't been here since
I was like, 18 years old. Still got the quarter pounder,
big Mac, chicken nuggets, new glazed donuts.

I know
you guys want me to get that? Alright. Let's see what
we're going to get here. Number one is the most
famous, the big Mac. So, I guess we'll go with that. Can I get a number one, please? Alright I feel like I'm sinning right now. I should not be doing this, but I'm going to do this for the vlog. Damn big Mac meal is $8.76, I remember when they used
to be like five bucks. Thank you appreciate it. So they sell big Macs for almost
ten bucks now that's crazy. It's like, why are you even eating this? If this costs like $10 a meal, you might as well eat
something healthy for 10 bucks. Thank you so much. Woo Got them golden fries. That big Mac baby. Gracias. Alright, we bought to get this
McDonald's buck bang going. I'm ready for the first meal of the day.

Now this is so crazy. If I
ate this three times a day, off of the nutrition facts, right off of the, McDonald's screens. This would be 3,600
calories, for a whole day of breakfast, lunch, and
dinner, at McDonald's. Alright we going to go
for the first taste test. Look at these fries, they had
them McDonald's taste though. Let's look at the quality of this burger. Huge bun, three pieces of bread, these super small little
flimsy patties, some cheese, definitely not worth 10 bucks. After just these three
things being 1200 calories. If you were to actually
have a real healthy meal, you'd have way more food for
the same amount of calories, not to mention way better nutrients.

Alright, let's go for
our first taste test. That's all bread. Honestly, I don't like it. It doesn't really taste that good. I've been eating like, majority protein. So now with like so much carbs all around, it just, does not taste that great. ugh, this food is so messy. And I already feel like,
just ripping off bread. That's like my intuition, but I feel like that's
cheating for the video, so, I'm just going to try to eat it all.

It's crazy to think some people eat like this every single day. It makes no sense to even
buy this and eat this. Might as well be eating healthy food. For the same price you can
get way better Quality food, better nutrients, and more food too. Alright, I'm about halfway done with this. Time to tap, some Coke. That's not that bad but, ugh I really don't drink
soda, that often at all, it literally feels like a sin,
just having this in my hand and taking a sip out of it. Alrighty, let's finish this up. Remember your body is a
machine, and food is its fuel. So let's see how this
food fuels my workout. Alright, finish my first meal. I don't know if you guys
think I'm cheating or not but, I left some bread behind, but I ate all the meat and that was so trash.

That was disgusting.
And that was horrible. I'm ready to go. It's crazy cause I didn't
even finish all the food. And I feel super sick right now. Imagine if I would have ate it all. My stomach is killing me, bro. [Elevator Dings] – Lets get this workout started! Alright, today I'm working on shoulders. And my main work out is at night time, but right now, we gonna do some scale training and my stomach still hurts but, I'm going to go for a little snack. Pretty good, I haven't had
a chocolate bar in forever. That last meal didn't even fill me up, I'm still kind of hungry, it's given me a crazy stomach ache. Hopefully this will work out,
and I'll feel a lot better. Alright.

We're gonna warm up with some hand stands. Assisted one arm hand stands. (light music) Feels like I have an
invisible belly right now. You guys are going to
think I'm exaggerating, but I really feel like I
have no energy, super lazy. (Chill workout beat) We're gonna do a couple
more sets of these, Then after we'll do some
accessory exercises, like, tap lateral raises, dumbbells
straight arm raises, stuff like that. And then we'll finish off
with some rear delt flies. Alright, there we have it. Nice little workout routine,
trained some skills. But now I got to figure out,
what I'm going to eat next. What do you think my next
meal should be Stephen? – (Stephen) How about some fried chicken? Alright, let's get it. Alright before we go, let's
update our progress photo. Had some junk food, had some
chocolate, half the day gone, A little workout training session. But even if I look bigger and better, I definitely don't feel better, and my performance, is
usually a lot better as well. But anyway, let's go eat. Alright, I'm back home Gonna eat lunch with my son.

How's your day? – Good. You? – Cool, it's good, good, good. You ready to eat some lunch? – Yep. – We're gonna be eating outside today. Look at the view baby. Alright. Time for lunch. So this is what dad is
going to be eating today. – No. – Yup. – No! – And this is what you're
going to be eating today. So today dad is doing a video where, I have to eat junk food for 24 hours. – Ohhhh. (laughter) I feel bad. – Today I had McDonald's,
for my first meal of the day, – How? – I had a big Mac.

Big Mac french fries and a Coke. Look, I got another coke too. – Okay, listen, guys just so
you know, he never does this, he literally never does
this, this is surprising me. – That's true, it's true. Cause I wish I could be
eating that right now, but let's see what we got here. – I mean, at least you're eating
tastes something that good. (mumbles) Chicken – Cookie, Mac and cheese.
Three piece chicken tenders. Nice and greasy. This is going to be around like calories. – Oh It doesn't really look
like that much food though. Yours looks delicious though. First taste test. – Wow – It's okay man – It's good. – I don't know, like the pasta it tastes like it's like soggy. It's not that good.

Let's try this crispy chicken. – Alrighty. – It's good. No? Dude, so you don't like KFC. – Quality of the chicken is just not good. – It's better than McDonald's. – I guess it's better
than McDonald's yeah. But this is definitely not
something I'd enjoy eating – What do you enjoy eating? Healthy food, what you're eating. – Pretty sure everyone would
wanna, probably wanna be eating pizza or something like that. – I'll wash it down with the soda. – Wow I've never seen you drink a soda. – I mean look at this chicken,
compared to the chicken that you have right there. – You can tell yours just looks way more delicious, looks way more fresh. This chicken looks like, like
rubbery, it's really weird. This is it for the next 24 hours. Cause I'm gonna go ahead
and finish this meal. At this point I'm just trying
to eat as fast as I can and get it over with. I can't go on anymore. – Then why do you hate this video? – When you're eating like
this every single day, you may not notice, how
bad it makes you feel.

It's just a normal for you. But when you're used to eating healthy. You'll definitely be able to see more of the effect that it will have on somebody that's eating this stuff. Let me try this biscuit. – Hm hm What? – I don't know. I don't like it at all. Lets get a look at this cookie. Oh – Now you have to be good now. – It's crazy the cookies like stale, but the chocolate is like melty. We are down to the last chicken tender. I can do this. Alright I'm gonna finish up this meal. Me and my son, going to
hang out for a little bit. And then I'm going to get into the main workout later on this evening. See you guys soon. Alright, guys, we're going to get into the
main workout of the day. Now at least four days out of the week, I do cardio, today is going
to be one of those days. Still hungry from my last meal. So, I got a snack. Doritos, and Capri Sun. It's crazy how I'm eating
all these calories, but I'm still hungry.

(Door closes) (Slow tempo techno music) Just finished up a sick
run. An amazing view. But Now it's time to go back to the office and get the real workout. Alright we just got finished
running a couple miles. Now it's time to get
into the real workout. At least four times a week. I do a whole session of either boxing or muay thai in the evening.

Today is not going to
be one of those days, but I am going to
incorporate a little bit. We're going to be picking up
from where we left off earlier this afternoon, emphasizing
on our shoulders. We're going to be doing a
circuit of deadlifts for 10 reps, straight into toast of bars for
10 reps and go straight into kicking the bag for the 30 seconds and then finishing off with
some handstand pushups. I'll be doing that whole circuit for about five or six rounds. (Trap music) And when you don't hold a lot of body fat already to begin with, you can really feel the
difference in just a day, mentally and physically (Kicks bag) There we go. It's crazy. That was just
round one, three minutes. I'm already breaking a sweat. (Slow tempo beat) Yeah For sure I can tell the difference. I feel way more fatigued than usual. I have no motivation. what you eat definitely matters when it comes to fueling your workouts. Oh Woo. Definitely feeling gassed. Alright so we have another
little progress update.

I have a pump right now. It
does make a bit of a difference, but, lets see where we're at with that yet what do you guys think. – (camera man) not yet It's crazy how much
I'm sweating right now, normally I wouldn't even be
this gassed by this point, alright let's keep it going, Let's see what happens tomorrow morning. But first let's get into dinner. Home, sweet home. Just put my son to bed, and
in my hand I have dinner. Can you guys guess what it is? Comment down below, if you

Tonight's dinner is going to be. Papa Johns. Boom, sausage pizza. Pepsi right here, 250 calories. It's been a long day. I don't
even know if you can tell, I feel like my face is bloated. This is going to be the last meal for this 24 hour experiment. This looks good, but we're
going to do the taste test. That's probably going to be
my best meal out of the day. Good job Papa John's. Time to tap the Pepsi. I have been drinking so
much Pepsi in a single day. Cheers. I'm going to be so happy to
finally get this over with. I'm actually going to open
up this garlic sauce too. Here we go. This one actually hits the spot
because everything else I've been eating today has left me still hungry and with the stomach ache. And none of it has actually tasted a good. Last couple of slices. I'm
going to finish strong, finish the rest of the Pepsi.
I'll At least get to there.

We're at the finish line. I
think it's the soda for me like, so much soda, ugh it's
got my stomach messed up. Last slice. I made it this far. And if

I should go train right now, and burn all of this off. (Pizza slams) Last bite, there you go baby I'm going to go to sleep for
the rest of the 24 hours.

See you guys tomorrow morning. Good morning. It's been
officially 24 hours. And I am done eating junk food. Last night, I'm not even exaggerating. I felt noxious going to sleep. Maybe I ate something bad or
maybe the combination of all those different types of
foods really upset stomach, especially when I'm not
used to eating them. And within these past 24 hours, I've eaten well over 3000
calories and that's way more than I normally eat in a day.

And I was still hungry after every meal, even though I normally get full
off of weightless calories. And despite eating all those calories, I still had a stomach ache the whole day. Felt a bit nauseous and didn't
even have the motivation or the energy, that I normally
would have to work out. So now it's pretty clear to
see what you're fueling your body with. Definitely matters. So with all that said,
without further a do, we're going to do the final reveal. What 24 hours of eating junk
food with some working on in between will do to your body.

Do I look more shredded or look bigger? I don't see a change at all. I look exactly the same. That's crazy. I do actually feel like I
have a bit more of a pump. I woke up today feeling more full, but I can tell it's from eating way more calories than I'm used to. And all that sodium has really made me retain a lot of water. That's why you have to pay
attention to more than just getting bigger, getting bigger. Doesn't always mean getting
better and stronger. And just because you got bigger, doesn't mean that you gained a significant amount of muscle either. And because I've normally
been eating clean for years, And I don't go over all my calories. This day was actually
not as detrimental to me, but if I was to continue
going down this path, I would definitely start
losing my shape, losing muscle.

I'd be gainning way more water retention, killing all my definition and all my cuts, gaining more fat and losing
the energy that I would otherwise had to work out and train hard. And not to mention all
the health complications. If I was to continue to do this, I'll be destroying my body on the inside. Creating a small calorie surplus
can be beneficial to muscle gains with minimal to no fat added, if done with quality foods, for a set period of time or
periodically without the need to cut after as opposed to a dirty bulk, which will actually set you
back and require you to work twice as hard, having to go on a cut after
your bulk in order to reach your desired physique and goals. And this is another reason
why I don't dirty bulk and I gradually build lean muscle over time. That's going to deliver the
best results and your best performance day by day. So that's going to be it for
24 hours of eating junk food.

Hopefully you learned something
and remember just eating one bad unhealthy meal is not going
to be the end of the world. It's not going to get you out of shape. Just like eating one
healthy meal is not going to get you in shape. It's what you're consistently
doing to create a foundation, which is either going to
affect you or help you. Anyway I'm going to go burn
