[Music] thank you so we've missed the pass this morning and
we're just getting to the afternoon cast today and it's like nearly two minutes late so I
think I'll get changed and start my first session so here it goes it's the first day
it starts off by running around and then this is me just playing around on the bag because
there's pretty much like go on the back heavy bag work now after stretching after about
half hour's worth stretching which at first at first glance it was like a lot of stretching
but later on I realized that you need to stretch that much because it's so taxing on the body
so yeah I'm playing around on the bag some combinations as you can probably tell if you
know what you're doing when it comes to Muay Thai I'm a rookie like I've literally had
one or two sessions so this was for me I was just like playing around obviously showing
off the boxing a few elbows I know I had that elbows pretty much down because it's the same
biomechanics as boxing it's just throw your body out here make sure you rotate your body
into it but yeah the kicks are absolutely abysmal at this state so this is the first pad session of the two
weeks so I apologize in advance that obviously I'm no more TIE fighter I've got a bit of
boxing down I've got a couple more entire sessions but no more so the knees are absolutely
abysmal as you can see they've probably got a bit of power in them but nothing much else
there's the kick the right kick I thought I had pretty much down the head kick but the
left kick I just couldn't get hooks obviously just transfers through boxing but yeah I thought
that right a head kick was pretty decent but as you can probably tell I'm pretty proactive
I had an unboxing in like three months because we had been traveling hadn't done any training
for like three months so there's a big shock to the body getting back into the swing of
things but yeah I really enjoyed this first pad session there's something so satisfying about blocking
a kick obviously it's in slow motion and he's not trying to hit me but just learning the
technique getting the technique down getting the feel of how these Fighters fight and the
little things in between amongst all the violence that is included in Muay Thai and obviously
UFC where they use a lot of winter as well foreign [Music] [Music] oh my God as you can see after that kicked I'm feared
in this probably two minutes in and having three months off I fit in this I think I might
have kicked him just below the pad there as well absolutely shocking at this stage but
that's why I come here that's why I come here for fitness and technique so see me improved good morning this was a cool combination they told me to
slip or step back and then the head kick already like that ended around little Touch of Love to say thank
you second body my legs are in bits it's nine o'clock we've made the morning session today
just about they're just starting up over in here but yeah I've got my toilet and then
I'll be in there with them yeah there is a few good point now who fun facts about Muay
Thai gyms is they skip Barefoot which obviously hurts when you mess up that hurts your toes
so bad we were sitting getting our wraps on getting our gloves I'm ready for the session
and Bank who is the professional Muay Thai Fighter at the gym he's training for his up
and come in My Thai fight that me and cam was lucky enough to go and watch and you guys
will see as well oh my God I look like a mess but how can you
be upset when you are a couple five minutes to the beach got your 7-Eleven Essentials
after your session well that's different to show you because I'm a sweaty mess and then
I'm gonna eat all of this stuff because I mean the first thing I've eaten today um the
session yesterday or both sessions really consists of a lot of stretching but that's
all right because it's a two-hour session so it's about 30 30 minutes of stretching
half hour which is good because obviously you've got to get your arms your legs your
back use a lot of your body uh it's quite a strenuous so you do three rounds of pads
three rounds of bag and then you do a lot of the technique like uh either sparring or
don't take you through that caption and parry and all that sort of thing um they're made
into their account and counter with the kitchen that was good today um so yeah yesterday was
barring today was more technique uh birthday is really enjoyed probably enjoyed today a
bit more starting to get to know the trainers they know I'm serious about it they like the
boxing is with me as well they'd one two three fours and all that kind of thing so it's very
enjoyable but yeah I'm gonna go and run in the city it's been waiting to do this all
morning and then I'm gonna snack on these things over and out all right we're going
for more another day another Muay Thai session there's me playing about in the back getting
a little bit more confidence we're just playing about with things elbows kicks trying to switch
it up trying to mix things in trying to think about what accommodations would go well with
other accommodations this is just how my brain works when it comes to martial arts and sports
but obviously I'm no Pro yes take a little jumping elbow there [Music] trying to mix the hands of the feet was just
so hard for me because obviously I moved my feet but I don't use my feet to kick or shins
to kick as they're doing Muay Thai oh my God [Music] okay this was me going over a technique drill
with a guy who'd done amateur boxing in Belgium he uh we'd had a little chat he's worked good
English and he said he'd done amateur boxing in Belgium I think he said he had about 12
or 13 fights so he was going through this technique drill which was a kick to the inside
of the fire kicked to the body and then the right hand over the heads so he's having a
little muck around this is really good getting the feel for it there we go this is me absolutely enjoying the fan at
this point because it was so hot like 32 degrees at the time foreign [Music] number four got today I think it's Friday
today so but today and tomorrow and then birthday Sunday I'm allowed to use the gym instead
on the Sunday or part of the uh two week thing so I might do that depending on how I feel
but the England game is in the morning at 2 A.M so I've caused himself really waking
up for that waking up to the gym and being up for it but we'll see push-ups in between
bag work now this drill was both at the same time 100
knees into the bag s a couple times today um [Music] husband will enjoy really enjoy too [Applause] I'm popcorn request if I can help the kids learn in the ground [Music] round one continue [Music] look at this little coat honestly me and cam
was just cracking up and also in awe of these little kids star coach of the night look at
him work look at him go robbing down the leg I think he even had a little bit of ice in
his hand for the fire bless him and the fire was mastered and all he was so good [Music]
thank you [Music] whoa whoa whoa how many knockouts did we say
I don't know I think it's about four or five the majority of them being kids like when
I mean kids like oh they chose the violence yeah I don't know four o'clock the videos
that young and it was just I almost seemed wrong watching it like our books at home as
you might know you might not know and like you can't even fight until you're 11.
And
then when you do and then when you do you've got a head card on until you're 16. so just
lie and then just seeing these peanut like these kids like they were on the 10 and the
first one or two between the ages of nine to twelve yeah and then and then then for
a third or fourth over teenagers it was the most brutal one and it was the
most real one at all of them got knocked out three times and they didn't call like the
first few times they didn't call it off it was so one-sided it was not nice to see like
I love a bit of action but when I'm seeing two kids like and this one oh yeah but other
than that 10 10 experience we've got three teacher mines in my pocket um and we're just
at Pad Thai I kind of didn't really like it it wasn't something and I'll finish the rest and then
uh we'll have to do all the football now all the time um [Music] and you'll see what they do in America your
body because we don't drink any caffeine or anything
so we just sleep forever for me or maybe I don't know eight or nine
[Music] Cam's gonna do it she's gonna take our own
pace I don't know our faces now do it now but yeah we're gonna go and smash this out
we'll try and get some clips for you guys come on it comes probably second session of Muay Thai
should come to join us today and she absolutely smashed it her kicks look so much better than
mine in that first video [Music] the trainer was really good with uh
so she said she wanted to go nice and slow and he listened they went through the technique
everything nice and easy and as you can see she absolutely smashed it for a second session
she makes me look like a beginner 's making a dinner again I'm ready me back with bank again I think this is one
of the last training videos and as you can see I've got my confidence here I'm standing
up straight I'm throwing my high kicks with confidence oh my right high kick with confidence
the lifter still isn't there but the elbows as you can see I'm taking my time a bit more
they're trying some new things block step back head kick all right at this point I'm
just really enjoying it I can't wait to get back to it to be honest watching these makes
you really miss it I'm not sure if you guys can tell but I felt so much fitter here obviously
the two weeks all the fitness I'd built up playing around like doing extra combinations
in between the combinations he was telling me about what an amazing time what an amazing
two weeks you probably won't see this but it's a special child to you you made my time
even better and the whole team of course all these guys it was such an amazing Camp I definitely
recommend maximum Fitness one amazing time I had here definitely go there it's one of
the cheapest places around it's in patongs it's right near the beach and it's one of
the smaller commercial gyms so it's not as busy as the other gyms get I won't mention
any of their names because I don't want to throw dirt on their names because they are
good gyms I'm yet to go to those but for a good gym that's right near the beach 100 recommend
