Sawasdee Khrap, welcome to our channel Kreng Jai Muay Boran. Today we are going to show you the first techniques of the Mae Mai series. They are the basic techniques that every Nak Muay must master. The first technique is called Salab Fan Pla: It is a technique to sweep and catch the opponent's arms. From this movement, different attacks can be applied with the arms, legs and even the knees… From the first position, we sweep the attack to the outside, in this case the attacker's cross. the right hand catches the opponent's wrist, while the left hand is applied to the shoulder or elbow rotating the body we apply pressure to the arm and from there we attack the attacker's arm, head or body.
The same from the right side… A step is made to the outside, sweeping the left Jab, at the same time the left hand catches the wrist and the other is applied to the shoulder again we rotate the body applying force to the arm. From this position you can attack the opponent's arm, head or body. The second technique is called Paksa Waeg Rang: With this technique you enter into the attacker's movement to block the opponent's attack and in the same movement counterattacking his biceps. From first position, we enter the opponent's centerline… blocking the attack with the left forearm, countering the opponent's biceps with the right elbow.
From the third position the same: We enter with the left leg in the centerline of the aggressor, the right arm blocks the attack while the left elbow counterattacks the biceps. The third technique that I want to present to you is called Chawa Sad Hok It starts with a Sweep, dodging to the outside, for example to escape a direct punch or a hook, turning a little to the right entering with a slide, pointing the right elbow horizontally to the ribs of the aggressor. We repeat the movement. From the third position: The fourth technique that I want to present to you is called Inao Tang Grit It is like the previous technique Chawa Sad Hok, only that, instead of staying outside, we enter the centerline of the aggressor pointing the elbow horizontally to the pit of the stomach.
From first position: The left hand turns the opponent's right fist to the left, entering with the right leg in the centerline of the opponent, pointing the right elbow horizontally at the pit of the aggressor's stomach. The same from the other side: We sweep the attack entering the centerline of the opponent, attacking the Solar Plexus or the pit of the stomach. It is important to get into a low position for more stability and to dodge from the direction of the attack and enter quite horizontally with your elbow at the height of the target, which is the pit of the stomach. The fifth technique is called Yo Khao Prasumeru. It is about escaping from the attack, dodging and from this low position, attacking with an uppercut (Mhad Ngad) From the first position we enter, turning in a 45° movement towards the opponent's attack throwing an uppercut (Mhad Ngad), gaining momentum from the legs, to the head of the aggressor. Same from the other side: We entered by lowering the body, following up with an uppercut (Mhad Ngad) These were the first five techniques of the Mae Mai series.
