Undefeated champion David Benavidez looks to add even more hardware to his collection on Saturday when he faces Oleksandr Gvozdyk for the interim WBC light heavyweight title as part of the star studded card that also features Gervonta “Tank” Davis against Frank Martin.

On Thursday, Benavidez and Gvozdyk met for a pre-fight press conference before facing off in front of reporters as they draw closer to their showdown this weekend at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Well known as one of the top pound-for-pound boxers on the planet, Benavidez didn’t need to engage in any pre-fight bluster with Gvozdyk as the fighters shared a stoic but friendly faceoff before they start throwing punches on Saturday.

Of course, Benavidez showed off the many title belts he currently holds before he look to add yet another one in the fight against Gvozdyk.

As for Gvozdyk, he comes into the fight with an impressive 20-1 record with his only loss coming to Russian mauler Artur Beterbiev. Since that setback, Gvozdyk has rattled off three straight wins including back-to-back knockouts in his past two fights.

Benavidez vs. Gvozdyk and Tank vs. Martin go down on Saturday night from Las Vegas.
