PFL could be setting up a superfight.
On Friday at 3Arena in Dublin, the 2023 PFL Europe Championships took place, and as such, the MMA “co-leader” brought out all the European stars. Sitting cageside for the event was current PFL fighter Cedric Doumbe, as well as Bellator star Michael “Venom” Page, and during the event PFL brought Doumbe into the cage to speak fans, where he took the opportunity to call out “MVP.”
“MVP! Whenever you want, I’m here for you!” Doumbe said.
Page then came out of the crowd and entered the cage, where he faced off with Doumbe before shaking hands.
“We’ll see what happens in the future,” Page teased after the faceoff.
Doumbe is a former Glory Kickboxing welterweight champion and currently undefeated MMA fighter. He made his PFL debut in spectacular fashion this past September, knocking out Jordan Zebo in nine seconds at PFL Europe 3.
Page is a former world champion kickboxer and longtime Bellator welterweight who recently ended his contract with the promotion and is now a free agent.
