Amanda Ribas’ strawweight return was a memorable one.
The 30-year-old veteran cashed one of four Performance of the Night bonuses on Saturday at UFC Vegas 82, earning an extra $50,000 for her thrilling comeback win over Luana Pinheiro. After struggling in the opening round, Ribas turned the tide and floored Pinheiro with a stunning spinning wheel kick en route to a third-round knockout on the night’s main card.
Joining Ribas on the bonus list were Saturday’s headliner Brendan Allen, as well as Joanderson Brito and Jeka Saragih.
Allen submitted Paul Craig in a dominant performance to extend his UFC win streak to six straight in the evening’s middleweight main event, while Brito and Saragih both scored highlight-reel finishes on the preliminary card over Jonathan Pearce and Lucas Alexander, respectively. Like Ribas, all three other bonus winners cashed an extra $50,000.
UFC Vegas 82 took place November 18 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
