UFC’s debut fight card in Saudi Arabia is nearly complete.
The promotion announced the updated lineup for the June 22 card, which is headlined by Robert Whittaker vs. Khamzat Chimaev in a five-round middleweight showdown, and airs on ABC in the U.S.
Among the announced fights, Shara Magomedov has a new opponent for his second octagon appearance following the withdrawal of Ihor Potieria, who was on the wrong end of a first-round stoppage loss to Michel Pereira at UFC 301 earlier this month. “Bullet” now faces promotional newcomer and 48-fight veteran Joilton Lutterbach. The switch was first reported by Shawn Bitter on Twitter.
In another opponent switch, Said Nurmagomedov has been forced to withdraw from the event due to undisclosed reasons, and Montel Jackson now faces the undefeated Farid Basharat.
