UFC 296 saw five fighters walk away from Las Vegas with some extra money on the last UFC fight card of the year.

On Saturday, following UFC 296, UFC CEO Dana White announced at the post-event presser that the company awarded a “Fight of the Night” bonus and three “Performance of the Night” bonuses for the event.

The “Fight of the Night” award went to the three-round bantamweight war between Irene Aldana and Karol Rosa, that saw Aldana score a hard-fought win in a true Fight of the Year contender. Each woman takes home an extra $50,000 for their efforts.

For performance bonuses, Josh Emmett led the way, earning his own $50,000 bonus for his devastating first-round knockout of Bryce Mitchell that left Mitchell convulsing on the canvas. Along with Emmett, Ariane Lipski earned a performance bonus for her second-round submission of Casey O’Neill, while Shamil Gaziev took home an additional $50,000 for his second-round finish of Martin Buday.
