This is why you don’t FIGHT THAI People!

[Music] that was the hardest part… oh bro.. [Music] [Music] all right so today I have a really
fun day ahead I've been invited by the fit fac gym in Bangkok to come into a Muay Thai
lesson now like I said I have absolutely no idea what I'm in store for they gave me they've
given me some Muay Thai shorts to wear and I I'm doing a lesson of some kind so this
is an experience that they offer they have it available online I'll share all the details
of that soon let's see what this day is all about [Music] so today I'm going to be doing a boxing class
at the fit fac gym so this place is located in ploenchit right near the BTS station and
this is a Muay Thai Academy so they reached out to me they wanted to give me a class and
this is an experience that's available online I'll leave all the information below but they
can come and pick you up from your hotel or wherever you stay bring you out here and do
a one-on-one lesson and teach you all the correct techniques for Thai boxing yes okay [Music] got this hot already [Music] ah it's
soup soup Redwood ah okay they put left hand yeah [Music] she look um hello yeah two ah again boom one two ah one two ah after okay ah yes [Music] ah there right back do it again oh yeah feeling like I'm in a
whole lot of trouble why are we walking towards the ring this is good it's it's interesting
to learn it's not what you would naturally think of how to punch like the steps which
puts you is like left foot or right foot [Music] are you gonna hit me yes yes don't kill me okay please [Music] no not the best oh my God and I'm
watching The Rise and I wouldn't say I'm shocked cause I'm highly surprised for the ride there's
one's for who know I make it just needed some time all right this one's for my wife could
have left a thousand times for the crime I know to the videos they thought
I was a black guy [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] I'm out of breath that's harder than I thought
because like it's Non-Stop and you're just putting all your force in every time good
fun it happened half the challenge is thinking of what what he's asking for I don't think
I've ever done a left hook in a fight [Music] so we started off with a light jog I did 10
laps around the gym I'm completely out of breath now as you can see but 10 laps around
the gym and then we're just sort of learning the technique so the technique is actually
the hardest part because if you ever been a fight like a street fighter or a drunken
fight or whatever the techniques are correct you're just swinging so learning the footing
is actually really complicated and once you learn it you realize why because the the shift
in your body weight so it's interesting to learn it's hard to remember but I'm screwed come on we need one minute break okay [Music] it's it's so tiring when you put all
your force in and then it's like again again again again again makes you really appreciate
the professional fighters that can go for like minutes and minutes and minutes on end this time [Music] it's the intensity that's the hardest
part because you're just like non-stop using all your force all your energy it's a hell
of a workout okay sit up sit up yes one no before we go all the way down enough how many what how many you think uh also one-handed
100 100 [Music] what's up that was the hotspot oh this sucks tomorrow I'm going to be pain right thank you thank you very much oh man that
was awesome I need a break oh man what a what a fun experience I I'm I'm completely cooked
right now God I'm exhausted but I really enjoyed that so that's a really cool thing that fit

you're staying they'll bring you out to the gym you can do a one-on-one session and they
start the packages start at 45 per person that was the biggest workout I've done in
I can't even remember how long it's so difficult the most fun part is definitely learning the
correct technique and this is really difficult you know it's all all in the footing and you
start to realize the more you do it that once you get that correct technique it's amazing
how much force you can put in you know if you've ever watched a Muay Thai fight or Thai
boxing fight the guys aren't big but they're strength and the way they use their strength
is amazing it's a brutal sport for doing this just a little bit you know I start to realize
how they use their strength and how they use you know their body weight shifting to get
so much force it's amazing I need to go to watch an actual fight next so check out fit
