Muay Boran Secret Kick (From Muay Thasao)

this Muay Boran secret kick is the signature
technique of Muay Thasao and it is called   Naka Sabat Hang which means "The Naka Flickers Its Tail" but why is it secret? This is because Muay Thasao is very jealous of their techniques   Pure Thasao style is basically extinct but the
Thasao lineage goes on thanks to the branch   Muay Thasao Phraya Pichaii which consists of
a mix of Muay Thasao and Chinese martial arts   it is the style of the Thai hero Praya Pichai Daab Hak this is why it is jealously treasured   this technique is terrifying because it's fast
and really hard to see since fighters are not   in kicking range and the kick is unexpected also
because the kicking leg comes up from the side   from outside the eyesight range in Muay Thasao
when you kick you should not swing your arms   but what i like to do with this technique is to
extend one arm in front of the opponent's face   to cover his vision and drag down his
guarding hand so let's see the full execution   step diagonally to the outside while extending
the arm in front of the opponent face be sure   to place the foot at 45 degrees this is key
to keep the knee safe and to correctly land   the kick if needed deflect a punch with
an outside parry step 2 raise the knee the   diagonal step and the knee raise are one single
motion the rear foot pushes only once step 3   when the leg has almost reached the maximum height,
if needed, you can slightly bend the standing leg   then pivot and crunch your body towards the
kicking leg while moving the arm across the body   this full chain of movements will
add a powerful snap to the kick   step 4 fully extend the knee and land
the kick contrary to the classic Muay   Thai kick in this kick the leg is not
relaxed it is actively pulled forward   you have to strike with this
area, the upper part of the shin step 5 after landing the strike re-chamber
the leg and go back in a balanced motion
