‘Mike Perry is a wild man’: Pros react to Mike Perry stopping Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 56

Mike Perry is the new “King of Violence.”

On Saturday night at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Perry faced Eddie Alvarez for the “King of Violence” title in the main event of BKFC 56, and Perry more than delivered lived up to the title, stopping the former UFC lightweight champion in two rounds.

After a competitive first round that saw Alvarez repeatedly tag Perry, the BKFC star turned things around in the second round, walking through huge shots from Alvarez to repeatedly land his own haymakers. At the end of the round, Alvarez’s left eye was badly swollen, possibly indicating a broken orbital bone, and when “The Underground King” informed his coaches that he couldn’t see, they stopped the bout between rounds.

Check out the combat sports world’s reaction to Perry’s brutal beatdown of Alvarez.
