Jake Paul is boxing again on Dec. 15, but it won’t be against Nate Diaz.
“The Problem Child” recently announced that he’ll be stepping into the ring again before the end of the year, an announcement that prompted much speculation as to who he would be facing next. Paul rebounded from a disappointing loss to Tommy Fury by winning a decision against Diaz this past August.
Though Diaz was quick to get the rumor mill going by sharing a poster on social media promoting a rematch, Paul’s promotion Most Valuable Promotions officially shut that talk down Monday.
See their response below.
For the record: Jake Paul will not be boxing Nate Diaz again.

According to the tweet, Paul won’t box Diaz again but he will fight him in an MMA match. MVP claims that Paul has already accepted an offer to fight Diaz under the PFL banner.
The proposal of an MMA fight between the influencer boxer and the former UFC star is nothing new. In the lead-up to their boxing match, Paul said he would pay Diaz $10 million to face him in an MMA match, to which Diaz responded that he would want it to happen inside the UFC octagon. Diaz showed a glimpse of what could happen under MMA rules when he playfully snagged a late guillotine choke on Paul in the final round of their boxing match.
Less than two months from fight night, it is still not yet known who Paul will box on Dec. 15.
