I Trained Like A Pro Boxer | Fight Camp Week 1… This Is What Happened

– What's up guys. It's Chrisheria. Welcome to another Vlog. For the past week, I've
been at Boxer Studios training like a pro boxer
with my coach, Mateo. – Look, Chrisheria has
been doing an amazing job training in the facilities. Training like a fighter. Amongst some of my pros
that are in the facility, he's gonna tell you what's coming up next. – We've been documenting everything for the past couple of days, because I was actually
having a fight on July 23rd. But unfortunately we got the horrible news that our opponent, I don't know if I should
say his name or not, but he backed out. The fight's
only a couple of weeks away. But I only found out about
this about a week ago and the day I heard about it, I said, yes. And we got straight to work. – Straight to work. Chris came in and he
said, "I wanna do it." I told him that I'll work as his trainer and get him ready and make sure that we would be able to give
you guys the best performance.

Because this man right
here has got what it takes. – Even though our opponent backed out, I'm still in the game and
we've been filming so much. I didn't wanna just
throw away this footage. So let me show you guys
what we've been working on for the past week and hopefully I'll still get to fight July 23rd. If not, we're coming for the next one. – Let's get it. Boom! (heavy breathing) – How did you do that? Yep, now try to keep your feet apart.

– Late nights. Everyone's chilling. Everyone's at home. Everyone's resting and we working. Chris hasn't stopped
training all day today. He's been doing all the necessary work that needs to be done. And now we're about to just get into some
technical work today. Working back and forth
a lot on the footwork and how his punches should snap out. From what I've seen in the sparring and all the types of
training that we've be doing, I will fix him up on all
the little technical things and the details of what needs to be fixed. – Remember when you go in,
don't twist your body that way just straight. Pop! That's it. Make
sure to step back off it. So watch. Pop! Good. Just a little shift
back, but stay relaxed. Through and that's it.

Pop! (inaudible) If I'm on the offense, right? We're boxing. Just pretend you're going to do it to me. Yeah. It's just like right now,
you're going on the outside. What? Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. You're getting caught because I'm already
hitting you on the outside. – Yeah you're out, you
have more of like a reach. So it's gotta be like here. – It's gotta be like we're in the pocket (mumbles) Look, I'm stuck.
– Right. – I can't, I can't really get out. – Right (inaudible) – That's what you use your
alternate because you got me- Boom! Boom! And even if I throw a punch… Boom! Boom! Boom! You're already, you're moving. – You see what I mean?
– You gotta be close. – You gotta be close. When you get someone experienced. Pop…pop…pop! And you'll get clipped. But if you're on the ropes,
like look, you're here.

You're boxing. Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! – Yeah. Make sense. – It's deadly bro. So you can capitalize on that. Or if you're in the middle here
in the center and it's close and you're doing inner fighting
and you're really close, that's when you do it. Right? – So I go, boom, come right here. – Exactly. – Or if I was right here,
I go boom and I'd be- Just keep the shoulder close. – Keep it all tight. And then you cut and then
you use your legs to pop up with an uppercut. – Like that?
– Yeah. – Makes sense? – Lotta sense. (mumbles) That too yeah. – All right, the next shit we're gonna do. Something that he doesn't even
know what we're going to do. And something of his that he should be using every single day. We're going to use the
heavier vest for a second. – Oh shoot. – Here it is. Hey! Made by Chrisheria himself. Got him in the gym. We use these for all our workouts. Using his weight vest helps dramatically in your movement, in your training because you're adding a weight that you're not used to usually using.

So when you shadow box and you're holding all that weight down, it's putting pressure on your legs, your legs dictate where your punches go. So, I want you to move, stay relaxed, same thing we were just doing. All right, on your toes. Up for jab, pop! Good. Up, pop! Good. Up, pop! Good. Up, pop! Good. Up, pop! Good. Pop! Yup. Good. Again. Don't pull back, keep coming forward. I'll move. Pop! Sit on that leg. right here? Yup, like you're
about to start a running race. – Forward. – Forward. Just like this. Boom! So it's the same thing but
you're in total control. Let's go. Pop! Good. Push. Pop! There you go. Again. Pop! Good. (mumbles) Now, take off your vest. (Velcro ripping) Bend your knees. Watch the difference. You see that difference? Keep using that heavier vest- – Mateo is a mad scientist over here.

– So seeing him for the first time, like sparring in a boxing ring, the natural ability that he's got. He's an athlete, you know. He's a natural born athlete. He's great at what he does in, in calisthenics and in gymnastics. And obviously to get to a very high level. And he's just well driven, you know. He's got the mindset, he's disciplined. So by having those attributes
in the boxing world, it's a- it's a big advantage. His training, the way he
does things, he's regimental. So when you already have that
and you have those attributes, like I said before, it just
makes the process a lot easier.

Now, with his explosiveness, that's just a big bonus
to what we're trying to do and what I can work with to try to make him become
the best in the ring. I'm 'gonna catch it. One. Two. There you go. Go. Good. Good. You can step back out. (bell ringing) – [Coach Mateo] You gotta
keep that rate every day. The pump, the pump. 'Cause what's gonna happen,
you're gonna get faster, faster- And naturally just going to be like- Pop! Pop! Pop! Hey, he inspired me, him and his brother inspired me, bro. Like really, really. I started with nothing, but they inspired me to be
able to do what I wanted to do. And they said, don't
give up on your dreams. You can do this and it all
started with Stefan, bro. And then you- – That's so crazy. I saw this guy start from the ground up. These brothers are like family to me. They really inspire me a lot. I'm trying my best to like
get on their level.

So- – You're already up, man. We got the YouTube coming up. You're gonna see, check

that right hand drift. Good. I'll catch it. There you go, that's your one, two. Good. Jab. Good. Fast jab. Good. Right hand. Last one, two. Straight down the line. Good. Again. Right hand. Faster on that right hand. Good. Again. (bell ringing) – I would say about about 10
years ago, nine years ago, I was going through my
own war, my own fight, battling an attempted murder charge. So honestly, bro, I've been through a lot worse, and like my whole life I've been fighting, my whole life I've been struggling.

Finally things in my life
are like really good. And that's just uncomfortable with me. You know? I know I've
always been in the struggle. My dad passed away when I
was like 13, 14 years old. You know? I mean, to
be real with you, bro. Like I got arrested in middle school. Wasn't allowed to go
back to public school. I had to do opportunity schools. You know what I'm saying? My
whole life has been a struggle. Now, that things are getting
easy, it just feels weird. You know? So, it's time to put the
fire under my ass again and you know, stay true to my roots. You know like I said,
I've been through way more trials and tribulations than
this little thing right here. So, this is just the warmup, you know. Plus with these guys. C'mon.

– So when you spar today, I'm going to be, I'm going to be like from time to time I might stop the sparring,
just to correct you on things that you know you need to
work on and capitalize on. You know what I mean? 'Cause everything right now, is all about timing, rhythm and then decent shots that
are gonna end the fight quick, without monkeying around. – Just need to control. Just control. Make it look nice. – He's great. Very talented. Actually, he surprised me
the first time we did it, because he has the moves, you know? He's like been in the game, not the first time he's doing it.

(blows thudding) – That's the best one. I was a little surprised
because he has a lot- a lot of skills you know, I think he's going to do
really good in this fight, I'm willing to put my
effort in whatever I can do to help him, I will. – Right hook to the side. Good. That's a good defensive move right there. Yup. – Tell you something, you can punch. You know, if you wanna throw your punches. Good. – Oh, my bad. We're not supposed to do uppercuts. – Yeah, no. Do the punch combinations. – Yup. You got to move. Angle it. Good. Pop the body then you turn. There you go. – If I can contribute with some… some of the knowledge I've
gotten through all this process, I'm happy to do it. It's a privilege to me. I'm honored to do it
and here I am for that. – Second day of fight camp,
I got my boy, Alejandro.

Helping me get to the next level, we got Mateo coaching me on the side, but uh it's look pretty
good. I don't know. You can't see from there,
but I already know, I feel better than the day before. (bell ringing) – My counterpunches? – A bomb. I love them. Yeah bro. – Thank you man. – His counterpunches are good. – Yeah. – But your jabs- They're not- Your body's like shifting
rather than going straight on. – I feel that. – It's like when you saw, you're like- – Sideways. – That's because you're
worried about the reaction. But if you do that. Bop! And you get caught with a left hook. That's a problem. – You can't hesitate.
– It's a hesitation. – I learned how to better inside the ring, practiced the one, two's going
straight down the middle, practiced just the basics, basics, basics, which is something that
we don't often get to… put as much detail in, which I know for sure I
gotta to work on that. Gotta work on not putting my head down. I guess we worked on that too, 'cause I was getting
punched in the face.

So… That's the only way to
learn to not get hit, is to get hit and not want it again. But yeah, we learned, we did a lot today. Built up my endurance, we even had a fight
camp earlier today, too. – [Coach Mateo] Jab into the body. Head down. Head down. Use that jab. Good. Breathe. (bell ringing)
Time. Great. – I'm gonna get him some of that hardcore. He got a good abs, he do abs, but I'm giving that boxing abs. – Finally something I'm good at. Abs. Let's see how this goes. – All right, jump in the ring and then I want your
knees outside the ring.

Your body inside, bring your
knees up, bring them up. You're gonna serve it like this, and then come up and
then serve it up there. – So you bring it here,
down, and then go like that? – Yup.
– Then I put it behind me? – Yup. – And straight up. – Look you got this. This is your time. This is your time. We've got three weeks. Like it ain't nothing. Come on. Easy work. Give me another 20 seconds.

Come on. – I'll give you another
five minutes. Let's go. – All right. All right. All right. That's what I want to hear. C'mon baby. (grunting) Easy work. (grunting continues) Easy work. No pain. No pain. No pain. No pain. No pain. Easy. (bell ringing) So hit me in the face. – Oh my God.
– Time. That's one. – Cool. – Yup, now I want you to do
a one, two through the gap. Yup. Easy work. Easy work. Come on, bro. Come on, man. You got a minute. You got a minute. Keep it at that. C'mon. Aint no pain. How bad you want it bro? How bad? Let's get it. Work! You got 45 seconds on the deck. You can mix it up to however you want. Want a one, two. You want to double it. You wanna just touch it. You wanna lead with weights. It's up to you. It's that work.

Come on, bro. You got 30 seconds on deck. (grunting) Aint no stopping right now, bro. Come on. You started it. We end it. Just get that work, baby. – No, I'm not tired. – Aint no work. That's my boy. That's my boy. – All right. So you guys have only seen a couple of days of our fight camp. We have about two more weeks to go, right? – We got two more weeks. – Hopefully you'll see me
