Olympic medalists Esquiva Falcão and Hebert Conceição face off in an all-Brazil boxing match on the undercard of Spaten Fight Night on June 15, the company announced Friday.
SFN is headlined by a five-round exhibition boxing match between old UFC rivals Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Falcão vs. Conceição will be an official 10-round bout contested at 74kg (163 pounds).
Conceição won five pro bouts since capturing gold at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, knocking out three of those opponents. Conceição trains in Salvador with Silva’s boxing coach Luis Dorea.
Falcão won silver at the 2012 Olympics in London and has since won 30 of 31 professional matches with 20 knockouts to his credit, losing only to Vincenzo Gualtieri for the vacant IBF middleweight title in July 2023.
